more interview answers
Jan. 19th, 2004 03:48 pmI'm going to put all my other interview questions behind this heah cut:

1) Why did you move to the states?
Well, I was looking for an adventure, but was flat broke and couldn't afford to just have a vacation. I'd been laid off, and was just about done experimenting with not working in the technical field. So I figured, well, why not move somewhere different for awhile?
I decided on the States because New Mexico was so gorgeous, and so different from where I grew up. So... deserty. And warm. Anti-Canadian weather. And I already knew a person or two from there, so I wouldn't be completely friend-free (although, of course, Andrew was there too), to help ease me into it.
2) What is your dream job?
Hmmm. I'm pretty sure my absolute dream job is the goal I have of owning my own organic hippie cafe. Now, in my organic hippie cafe dream, I have a small therapy business on the side - literally on the side of the place, where I would have clients in on half days, or just whenever I felt like it.
Also, I would have a thriving organic grocery store on the OTHER side of the cafe, just a small thing within the cafe that people could pick up their groceries and pay for them at the same till that people order their coffee from...
And I'd be selling jams and jellies as well. Including sugar free types.
:D
3) If you had a digital camera, would you post more pictures? :)
Yes, definitely! I don't post many pictures now because a) it's really hard for me to find pictures of me that I like and b) it's hard to practice taking and having pictures taken, if you have to wait so long to get them developed!
We keep talking about getting a digital camera, but that's just not in the works yet. I wonder if registering for something like that is a big no-no and will offend people?
Some day it will happen, I PROMISE.
4) If you could go on vacation anywhere, where would you go?
The funny thing is, Andrew and I were just talking about this on the weekend. I would most like a year round trip around the world. Well, maybe 2 years, to make sure I see everything, and have no stress.
But other than that...
I'd REALLY like to go to New Zealand. And Spain. Cuba, Hawaii, Belgium and Iceland, too. Japan would be neat...
See my dilemma? EVERYTHING is cool!
5) How many hours of sleep do you get at night?
Oh, I get LOTS of sleep a night. From 7.5 to 9, generally. Usually around 8.
I'm a big sleep wuss. Even in University, when other people were staying up all night to finish assignments or study for exams, I'd be like "hey, it's 12, I'll see you tomorrow, I'm going to bed!"
