4 months is NOT a long time.
Mar. 18th, 2004 11:02 amLast night was great, despite the fact that my stomach felt grody on and off for the entire evening.
We had a chick pea and swiss chard dish over rice for dinner, and a delicious tea from my new indian cookbook (darjeeling with cloves, fennel, peppercorns, cinnamon, and cardamom. YUM), and we caught up on our days as I made cinnamon-oatmeal-chocolate chip cookies for my coworkers, (who are in a day-long meeting today), then we FINALLY put a bunch of art up in the workroom.
The workroom looks great now - more like a room we use instead of a room we store things in. We still need some storage for all the art stuff and the tools - I'm thinking, a couple of cheap dressers would be perfect, but where do we get them? We're going to keep an eye out for some at the thrift store. We NEED something by July, that's for sure.
So it was a very productive early evening. As the evening progressed, I felt more and more ill, though, so I didn't work out, but did stretch.
This morning I did 30 minutes on the ellipse, watching The Birdcage. 30 minutes was just enough to get me feeling really good, and was just what I needed. I'll do a proper workout tonight.
I wonder if I can start doing 30 minutes in the morning more often? Hmmmmm...
Now that people are getting their invites, I'm getting really excited about the ceremony and reception, instead of being stressed. Woohoo!
It is exactly 4 months from now. Geez.
This weekend I plan on (at the very least) pinning Andrew's pattern onto his material. If it goes well, I'll cut, too. (But, but... cutting is irrevocable! You can't go back from there!)
Underneath the jacket, for him, we're thinking wife-beater, pinstripe pants, and suspenders. Whatcha think?

Date: 2004-03-18 01:55 pm (UTC)For cheap and roomy storage I'd go to IKEA. I can't wait to live near an IKEA again!
So when is the ceremony exactly?

Date: 2004-03-18 02:03 pm (UTC)Although I do have every intention of picking up some of their smaller storage solutions to fit inside whatever larger storage space we get, for smaller things like nails/screws/art notions and such.
