wrack your nerves
Mar. 26th, 2004 08:02 amI got all the patterns pinned on the fabric for Andrew's coat last night.
Let me just say, it was a nervewracking experience. Thought I, "what if I do it wrong? What if one piece is slightly bigger than another? What if the fold is wrong? What if you can actually see the grain? What if what if what if what if?"
Andrew, of course, is not worried at all. I shall try to learn from his example. ;)
Anyway, I'm glad that part is accomplished, because I swear, ironing that huge amount of fabric, then placing, arranging, and pinning that sucker, was something I Wasn't Looking Forward To.
This weekend - cutting and marking, and maybe even some initial sewing. Le w00t!
I did my hour of cardio yesterday, but because there was nothing on tv, it was the most interminable never ending hour EVER.
I deserve a silver star (I prefer silver to gold, thankyouverymuch).
I woke up at 5 fucking AYEM this morning to get to work for 6:30. Happily, that means I get to leave around 2 today. My weekend is going to be just that little bit longer, yay!
Weird dreams again last night, although not nearly as frustration-ridden as the night before. Lots of PEOPLE I know in the dreams, though. People I haven't talked to for a long time.
