I'm in a better mood now. I got pictures of a puppy, and some chocolate, so I'll be ok. :D
Last night was actually quite pleasant.
Andrew and I met up and ran over to the new vegan/vegetarian (everything is vegan except their bubble tea and their ice cream) restaurant I heard about that's right near us. (I mean, a 5 minute walk, w00t!). It feels so incredibly decadent to have a vegan restaurant near us - like we live downtown or something. So wonderful!
Anyway, we got crispy fried egg rolls and a 'small' spicy soup, and sesame eggplant with tofu over vermicelli. It was so yum! Extra YUM! And cheap, too. Most wonderful.
We had to leave quickly, though, so Andrew could get to the theatre. I'm glad the theatre is so close to us. The time he spends there is bad enough as it is.
I felt ill for a little while, so I lay down and had a quick nap before doing anything else. The rest of the evening was productive - I stretched, made a fantastic spicy chickpea/green bean/broccoli salad for lunches today and tomorrow, and even did 45 minutes of cardio, and did some bill type stuff as well.
Tonight I hope to do a bit of sewing on Andrew's jacket, and there is definite grocery shopping to be done, and I might even trek over to the library to get some new books. Because of the 5 books I just got out of the library, 4 were shit and one was just bad. Suxx0r. I neeeeed more READING MATERIAL!
Anyway.
Sunday is the sunrun, w00t! We'll be running 10k. Although I hear from folks that it's always slower than you think, because there are so many people, it gets crowded, just like rush hour. But hey, whatever - I also hear there are bands all the way along, and that it's a really fun experience. I can't wait!
