brightbluegirlEvery time he leaves me to go on a trip, I kiss him lots, and of course I say I love you and I miss you and Have a Nice Time and all sorts of things...
I also say:
Don't Die.
And he always says:
I won't.
Anyway, last night went too quickly. And we even stayed up late to get everything done.
We went out for dinner instead of making it - I gave him the option of home made bean tacos or the vegan vietnamese restaurant down the street. He chose the restaurant. Cutie.
It was SO GOOD. It always is, but in all the times we've gone, there's only ever been one other customer there.
We had pan fried chop suey and a spicy lemongrass gluten, fresh spring rolls and fried 'egg' rolls. Oh the yum. And there are SO MANY LEFTOVERS.
At home, I made carrot-ginger muffins, and he baked the vegan shepherds pie he'd made (and written on the potato topping "I will miss you!" with a heart for my lunches for next week. He ran around and packed, we watched enough of Survivor to see who got the million...
And can I say that I am SO GLAD that it was Rupert? I mean, not just because I like what I know about him, but because it's about damn time that a nice guy got rewarded for being good. With all the other shit that's going on in the world, a nice guy getting rewarded is just so great.
Anyway, yeah. Watched CSI - I stretched. Cut his hair, he cut my hair. Mine's a bit short, but it grows fast so I'm cool. Had some goodbye nookie, and he gave me a goodbye massage (AFTER THE NOOKIE, which is just incredible, I'm surprised he didn't fall asleep on my back).
Kissed him goodbye today, and I miss him already.
I have a lot of plans for while he's gone though. Work extra hours. Run several ceremony type errands. Finally finish the damn couch cover I've been neglecting for weeks. And the pillows to go with it. I know there's more, but I can't remember at the moment...
