I just spoke to Andrew a little while ago... not only were both his flights delayed by at least an hour, but US customs and security caused him some major grief, searching him and his luggage twice, and dragging him into a back room twice to try to scare him into admitting some crime.

Poor bhunny.

The good news is that he's successfully gotten there.

Apparently the rings are ready. I wasn't expecting them until at least June - I don't know where we're going to get the money for them.

I might put off picking them up until June anyway - I'd rather pick them up with Andrew, so we can make sure of fit and etc while we're still at the store.

I read your post about the rings and it touched something in me. I really wish i could be there to see you come together. I can't see the money appearing out of thin air in the next few months (but you never know). anyway, I know what I'm giving you for your wedding present. I'm going to send it with Olivia when she goes, and its such a spirit of me that in a sense I will be there.
but I'm not telling. you'll find out.
hee hee.
love you.

Well, he didn't say if they said anything, but he's a young man with facial piercings (septum, eyebrow), and an alternative "look" to him, going to Rhode Island to shoot a zombie movie. I have no doubt either one of those things would be enough to cause him problems, even though he's a good boy.

I've never had problems crossing the border, except one time with 2 male friends who liked wearing army gear. That was a LONG time ago, though. Nowadays I get the impression it's more difficult for anyone who is even slightly different from the norm...
