Man, last night passed like a flash. I got home around 7 to a call from Andrew - my poor bhunny got heatstroke or sunstroke or something, and was feeling icky. He'd even puked. We didn't talk long, but at least we got to talk. I wanted to be there to hug him and pamper him. :(

Anyway, he'd already had a nap, and was drinking lots of water. I suggested he eat fruit if he could find some, and drink more water, and even have a cool bath if he could. He said they were going to the beach, just a couple of them, and since it was night, it should be nice and cool. So that's good.

He'll be home on Wednesday...

Anyway, I read for a while, and then sat down to work on the couch cover. An hour and a half later, I looked up and noticed the time! Time passes so quickly when I'm sewing. I always think "oh, well, I'm not doing anything difficult, it's not taking long..." and then it is.

I tried it on the futon, and it looks pretty good! It needs a bit more work, which I will hopefully do tonight, but at the latest, this weekend it will be complete. It'll be nice to finally have it done.

Then on to the four pillows - but they shouldn't take nearly as long. Since I want them done by the time Andrew gets home, they damn well better NOT.

So I sat in the bath and read, and didn't get out until I'd finished my book... an hour later than I normally go to bed. Ah well, shit happens. So I slept in today and didn't get into work until 9:30. Hee! I'm such a bad ass.

This weekend promises to be busy - with going to the Bay, finishing the skirt to my dress, work, trying to find time to get shells at the beach, and finishing the couch cover (and pillows?), I won't have a lot of relaxing. But hey - that's life.
