It's alllright...

brightbluegirlWell, I'm still feeling pretty good mentally.
Although, you know, some days... well, basically, we have a leak in our toilet tank, one of my front bottom teeth started hurting yesterday, just out of the blue, and for a while there this morning, I was pretty stressed out about work.
Oh yes, and sleeping has been difficult, because we're trying an open door policy with the cats at night, again, hoping that leads to less meowing from the black boy, and more air circulation. (I can't sleep with the window open, because we border on a large street, and it gets loud)
Unfortunately, that means I sleep less deeply for more of the night, because the black boy climbs all over us, sniffs us, etc etc. You'd think, "oh, how cute and kittenlike!" except he is 6 1/2...
Anyway, he's already calming down - he lay between us for most of the night, and it was really nice. But he lay on the blankets in such a way that I was uncomfortable. I woke up at 3:30 and had a really hard time getting back to sleep - I'm sure most of it was from work stress, though.
However, I slept a lot yesterday, and we even managed to cut a couple of things off our list. So I'm alright...
My brother and his girl will appear on Thursday evening. They'll stay with us (Note to self: Have allergy medication on hand), and then drive us to pick up the car on Friday morning.
Aaron and Leigh get in Friday evening around 6, and Cam gets in later (I need to check the time, I have it at home). Olivia and her boy get in late that evening as well. Aaron and Leigh may rent a car - more info as time progresses. All these people are staying at the same hotel.
My father and his wife have changed their minds about spending time together on Friday evening, and instead we have made tentative plans to do breakfast/brunch on Monday before they go back home.
Aaron and Leigh have tentative plans to go to the island for the days I'll be busy with family - Monday and Tuesday, and come back on Wednesday. They'll then stay at our place for the rest of the week (they leave on Saturday), which will be good for the hanging of the out.
Andrew and I are talking about going camping from Saturday until Tuesday. We need to finalize that, and book our campsite asap, if we do decide to do that.
So, the plans as they stand:
Friday
-pick up car at 9am
-pick up mom at 1:30pm
-lunch/whatever with mom
-then, hang out with friends in the evening?
*this leaves time for cooking during the day, which is positive - either I will make dips/etc that day, or cookies. Haven't decided.
Saturday
-legal ceremony at noon
-lunch with whut friends would like to have lunch?
-party at 7
*also leaves time for cooking and the party favours for the reception, although we will need to prepare for the party as well
Sunday
-well, you know. stuff.
