I think a minority government could be very, very good for us.

I guess I'll wait and see.

I'm also confused about the numbers - one article I read said 134, 99, 50, 19, and a newspaper headline I saw said 135, 90, 54, 23.

Ah well.

So yeah, I'm actually excited about what's happening in Canadian politics for the first time since I'd heard Svend was gay. (And can I just say "poor Svend??" He's going through some rough stuff right now)

More final fantasy last night... this week, at least until Wednesday, I'm just trying to get through work. Everything else that needs doing is taking a second fiddle.

And then, of course, once Wednesday night rolls around, I'll be focussing on whatzit preparations.

-Finish Andrew's jacket
-make 3 batches of no-bake cookies
-make 3 batches of lemonade concentrate
-buy dish covers, labels for the reception, cards for parents
-make wrapping paper and wrap gifts for parents
-find a place that will press our clothes and get the clothes pressed
-try the self bronzer I got (it says it fades like a real tan, so if it's too bronze, I want to put it on a few weeks before the day... oh look, it's a few weeks before the day)
-cut each other's hair
-reburn the CDs for the day (Andrew did a good job, but more and more we're thinking CDs that are all slower stuff to start the eating with, and faster stuff later on for the mingling, is better than a mishmash)

And I just know I'm forgetting something. Luckily, we have a list at home, so I'll be able to check it.

And of course, I'm going to do all that before Sunday, because on Sunday I'm going Strawberry Picking and then having daquiries with a very cute mama and her kidlets!!

I went through a lot of my old photos (which I have thrown in a bag, because I'm a lazy git - I really should get some photo albums or something), to find some pictures of me when I was dying my hair.

Considering I dyed my hair for something like 10 years (with a short hiatus in Ottawa, when I tried dreds instead), you'd think I have lots of photos, right?

Well, no, not really. Just a handful.

But even so, I YEARN for blue hair. I miss it. I crave it. I miss my lip piercing, my labret... I miss the days when I looked the way I felt.

Dammit.

I'm seriously considering asking the folks at work if there's ANY way I can dye my hair... even if I have to commute to downtown Van every day instead of just to Burnaby...

*sigh*

Well some votes are still being counted/recounted and it kinda depends on when the papers went to press...

Yeah, I thought of the papers/press thing afterwards, as well. Which is too bad, since I like the second numbers better...

have they specifically said that you can't have piercings/dyed hair or is that something you're assuming?

Do you see customers on a regular basis? I don't really understand why they would care if you didn't.

We can be screaming fags with rainbow hair if we want, in fact there are a few of those upstairs ;)

Heh, you're lucky...

Well, the company I am full time with hires me out as a contractor, so my desk is actually in a client office, which is why they have an issue with it.

Clothing wise, it's a pretty casual atmosphere here at the client office, but my company feels that blue hair/facial piercings is beyond that.

So yeah. I need to approach them about possible moving to the company office - but because I'd still have to come here sometimes for special meetings or otherwise, I don't know...

Sucks you can't dye your hair :P

The vote totals are still weird cause things like prison and overseas votes are tallied last - they don't change the results, but do change the seatings. But I think the official amount is in now. And I agree, I think it'll be a good thing (if it actually lasts more than six months).

And I looooooove doing photo albums. I like to get something I can decorate, and put little clippins or writings in with the pictures.
I'm a geek like that.
