Canada What?

The CD burner software we have is acting funny. We've been trying to burn the CDs for the whatzit, but for some songs, it chops off the last 5 or 10 seconds. We checked - the songs are fine when we play the mp3, but as soon as we burn them...

*SIGH*

That really sucks. And it's songs I really like, too, like Lamb's Flat line (the Fear of fours mix), and stuff.

My poor Andrew was coughing again all last night. Neither one of us slept much, but I tried to make him as comfortable as possible. I don't think I succeeded.

This morning, of course, being the first day in my 4 day holiday, and having not slept much the night before, I was up, wide awake, at 6:30. That's ok... I snuck out of bed and did some things around the apartment before he got up 2 1/2 hours later. One thing I did was make him some fresh squeezed orange juice. :D

4 DAYS OFF!! WOOHOO I need this so much.

Anyway. Today - the buttonholes, perhaps the buttons, finish making the last batch of lemonade concentrate (I tried to do that this morning, but we are completely out of sugar), try that bronzer, and we'll see what Andrew's up for when he comes home from work. We do need to cut each other's hair... oh yes, and I'm going to VACUUM. Because I can.

It's a gorgeous day, just brilliant out. We're not celebrating Canada Day... we're not mourning it or anything, but we're not celebrating.

Today's dinner will be vegan cornbread and spinach salad. Yummy!

i have cd burning issues almost every time i go to do it. very frustrating. i hope it gets sorted out. and i hope andrew is feeling better soon. sucks to be sick. i'm just now starting to feel like a real human being again.

I've been thinking, you guys seem to get sick a lot. I wonder if it's because you need some MEAT? :)

It's funny, I hardly ever get sick... I get nauseaus from lack of food or sleep, and I get allergies from hell... but not sick very often. He gets sick a lot, though. I don't know WHY it is - we eat the same stuff (mostly), and get the same amount of exercise, sortof. Over half the time he gets sick, I don't even catch it from him. I've always had a really strong immune system. Strangely, my brother gets sick a lot too. I mean, a LOT. He's always got something going wrong.

Different people, I guess.

Thanks!! I've had a lovely day so far, but now I'm going to have to clean all the stove burners, too, because I just let the lemonade concentrate boil over. SIGH.
