I'm feeling really overwhelmed right now.

So we went to this super secret work get-together for the whatzit, and they gave us a luggage set AND a crockpot, and I got all teary.

And then we went to the Bay because we got a call and someone had sent us something to pick up - a FOOD PROCESSOR.

And we lugged all this stuff home and my best friend from high school had sent me a package. A gorgeous blue/purple (stunning colour) top and sarong, loose green flower tea, and incense, a bath bomb and a sweet letter, and pictures of her in her new life in Amsterdam.

I haven't seen her for years, and I miss her like CRAZY. But that's an aside.

And people are going to start getting here on Thursday.

And I'm just feeling really overwhelmed... I don't feel worthy of all these gifts, or of this outpouring of love. All these people are coming to see ME commit to a man we all already know I'm committed to... they're coming across country to see ME, and I just don't get it.

I don't understand why everyone loves me so much, and I feel like crying.

that would be overwhelming for anyone, sweetie. it's okay to feel teary about it. it's wonderful.

oh, and they love you because you are, obviously, eminently loveable. yep, you are.
