I have just had the most AMAZING day.

I have a friend.

In THIS CITY.

Who adores me as much as I adore her.

We just spent hours and hours and hours together, talking, and drinking, and having good times, and just hanging out... it was awesome.

I have a good friend. A kiss on the mouth hug for long times talk about everything comfortable in each other's personal space talk about everything good friend.

Who doesn't live across the fucking country.

I think I found my way back to happy-town.

Andrew has a chance to possibly become the manager of the building where he works. We'd have to move there, live there, and he'd be on call. But there'd be extra money in it, and free or very cheap rent, and it'd be closer to the skytrain. We're both very excited, and trying not to be excited in case it doesn't happen.

And I made lentil-potato-onion pierogi today, and they were amazing.

And

zaftigvegan brought chocolate mousse with strawberries, and LEFT IT HERE, and it was super duper yummy.

I'm so happy.
