So I'm feeling kinda bored, kinda like I want some entertaining, a LOT like I'd just love to be eating massive amounts of sushi right now.
Mmmmm sushi.
*sigh*
So you may have to put up with me posting a lot today. Even though I have quite a bit to do at work. Ick.
So we put together a package for my mother last night, and Andrew is mailing it today on his way to work. Nothing special, just some cutlery she'd wanted that was left over from the whatzit, and a jar of the Sweet Cucumber Relish.
I am SO WORRIED that the Cucumber Relish jar is going to break on the way there.
We bought a real box (as opposed to making boxes, as Andrew often does), and taped up the jar in some bubble-wrap we had, and even got styrofoam popcorn, and packed everything up in that.
I hope it works.
Andrew suggested, and I agreed, that we're going to send a jar of the relish to my Granma NOW. I'm going to write her up a note tonight, and we'll do the same sort of packing job. Ooh, except I'm out of bubble wrap. Ok, I'll buy some today. Anyway, yeah, that's what we're going to do. I'm just going to write her a note that says I made the Relish, and I know she's not eating much right now, but in case she had a craving for some, I wanted to send it along. I might even make a joke about how if she tastes it, she can tell me if it's like hers or not.
Because according to the doctor, she's probably not going to make it to Christmas.
I just totally lied to someone who asked me if the Guacamole Doritos were good. I said yes. I didn't even process her question until AFTER I'd answered.
Heh.
Mmmmm sushi.

Date: 2004-09-23 05:20 pm (UTC)But the tostitos? We haven't had them, but they always looked good. What the hell could they be thinking?
I'm going to have to figure out a way to make my own, I guess.
