Andrew is asleep in the other room. I so love that boy.
You'd think I'd be sleeping too, but as happens when I'm tired, I woke up at 6:30 and couldn't get back to sleep. I'm such a weirdo!
However, this means I've washed the dishes, and I'll call my mom (weekly call, don'tcha know), and still be able to make a fancy meal for breakfast (apple flapjacks with homemade applesauce, I think) before he goes to work. I have a plan to nap later. :D
Yesterday was PAINFUL.
So I helped
kirithebrave and
sabyorange move yesterday. Andrew came to help for about an hour, and then had to go to work. Saby had to work as well, so for most of the day, it was just kiri and I. Lots of stairs, too. We had the u-Haul for 5 1/2 hours, and they were charging $50 for every 15 minutes you're late dropping it off. $50!!
So.
Imagine being on a stairmaster for 4 1/2 hours.
Now, imagine being on that stairmaster, holding varying weights, for 4 1/2 hours.
NOW.
After doing the stairmaster thing for 4 1/2 hours,
Start running.
Back and forth from a truck.
With varying weights, of course.
Saby showed up at the end, just in time to save our butts, and helped us get everything out of the truck so we could get it back to the u-Haul folks in time (10 minutes to spare, baby, 10 minutes!!).
She also got everything leftover into the apartment, that we'd had to leave all over the sidewalk in our rush to get it all out of the truck.
Anyway, so now I'm sore. My legs and biceps, really. I'm amazed that I kept good lifting skills for the entire day, and didn't hurt my back.
Oh yes, and now I have a bloody awful cough.
BUT
I'm really, quite content.
