Last night was ok... I was a crabby bitch, but other than that, it was lovely.
Andrew made a yummy nacho "cheese" dip, and refried beans, and we had nachos with beans, nacho dip, and salsa. It was tres yum.
Then I worked on my resume and cover letter for a while, and when I was done, he started working on the work shower gift for my work friend Heather. They now have matching aprons with a picture of them on them, and each has their own name. Super cute! Well, they don't HAVE them yet, but they will.
That took a long time, actually, because there was the design, then hunting around the damn apartment to find where in hell the transfer paper had gotten to. I SWORE that I'd put it in the drawer with all the other Xmas present stuff, but it wasn't there. So I got more and more frustrated as we went through the work room, the files, the computer desk, over and over and over. And then I thought, what if it fell out of the drawer? And it HAD, it was under the bed-table. At that point, I was just glad that the memory I had of putting it in the drawer in the first place was correct.
Phew.
Anyway, then, of course, the printing and the cutting out, then the placement and ironing. I helped with the cutting, but he did all the rest. He rocks like no other man, he just does.
Anyway, while he was doing the design and stuff, I had a bath and read. Oh yes, my life is hard.
And I've got to tell you - tea made with organic peppermint and licorice root is really super good. It's shockingly good, really. My new favourite tea. So sweet, with that pleasant licorice root aftertaste... oh yum.
