I owe SO MANY PICTURES. So, here they are:

*snicker*

Seriously people. LESS IS MORE.

I preen a little at the things I made...

He LOVES it! Wears it all the time, keeps showing it off... I love it too, I admit, and I show it off too. *blush*

Man, this turned out better than I'd hoped. I'm so glad she likes it!

And the detailing on it:

Want some tea?

My man loves me. I'd never have spent this kind of money on me, but I would have coveted this... now I don't have to, because I HAVE ONE.

Our Yule Tree

A little blurry, sorry. We're thinking about not putting a star on the top next year, because of the religious connotations. You can't tell, but we have only Yule type stuff on the tree, nothing Christian or Santa, except for 1 ornament each from our childhoods that have red hats (a bear from mine, a penguin from his).

One of the ornaments on our tree. I just loved how... calm it looked.

New Years Eve

My man... looking all studly in his faerie wings. :D

The whole night felt like this. Comfortable, small, and loving, and HAPPY.

Also, I have backdated an entry to Dec 31, that had my goals in it, and ramblings from Friday at work.

YAY for pics!!

And the teapot... *IS* cast iron. Isn't it gorgeous???? It's going to last forever. And he was all sappy on the little card, he wrote "I hope our relationship lasts longer as this will"

Ahhhhhh what wonderful pictures...well, except for that house thing. I have *NO* idea what those people were thinking.

Congrats on your scarf, I think it looks wonderful! I think knitted gifts are the most precious things in the world, but again, I am biased.

I covet your teapot, it is truly beautiful. =)

*giggle* that house is funny, but nothing compared to this one in my neighborhood, they literally go insane, thousands of lights, front and back yard (they're on a corner lot) fence, every square inch of the roof and the ground is covered, crazy. I took a pic of it a couple of years ago but I must have deleted it from my server.

The scarf looks awesome, and that purse.. amazing, I can't believe you made that!! Where the hell do you find the time for this stuff??

Oh man, you should come to see how they do (and overdo) their decorations in my neighborhood. My favorite of all of them is "not really spectacular," as per my mother, which is why I like it so much. The people, who have a huge house, put little dolls in their windows, one in each. Each doll is holding a lit "candle." The shutters to the windows are closed around the dolls, so the soft light thrown off from the dolls' candles is reflected back out. It's really lovely. I should take a picture or two before they take them down.

The scarf and the bag both look great. I would never have thought the bag was handmade. Pennycuts said it about the ends, too - it fits that you didn't make one the same as the other. I like it.
