Well, now I'm caught up. I worked only 7 hours today (I was just so tired... my body is dispelling something that it doesn't like, and I've had an icky tummy and been a little extra tired and thirsty since last night), and then came home, made some chocolate sauce out of Bakers chocolate, a tiny bit of soy milk, and maple syrup, and gratefully sank into the bath Andrew forced me into (oh darn) with a lavendar bath bomb and a book. Bliss!

I have figured out what type of bath bombs I'm going to make for Andrew's mother for her birthday.

gingersnap!!

I have ginger (one of her favourite scents), and cinnamon, and clove... so I'll put in a bunch of the first, a bit of the second, and just a touch of the third. YUM!

I just talked to Andrew. We're going to get her a trashy novel, and make her some gingersnaps, and it'll be a little "pamper you!" type of present. Perfect!

Her birthday is on Feb 8th, so I won't actually make the bombs until after I'm done my presentation on the 27th.

Also, I baked the bath bombs for [livejournal.com profile] pennycuts a little longer than I usually do, and I used one of the rejects last week, and it fizzed even better than normal, so I'm going to do that from now on.

what I'd *really* like to do is get some fancy oil, instead of the sunflower oil I use... sweet almond oil or something, but I haven't been able to afford it. ah well. Some other time.

I don't think I'll be working one second past 8 hours today. It's not just that I don't feel like it... I'm tired, too. My brain hasn't quite completely switched on yet. *sigh*

It's on days like today that I would like an exercise bike at home, instead of the ellipse we do have... I'd gladly sit on a bike and pedal like mad for an hour while reading a book. That'd be grand. It's kind of hard to read on the ellipse.

At least it's raining instead of snowing. Soon, the roads will be clear, and we'll be able to go for walks again. And maybe, we can start running.

Last night, after work and before meeting with the boys to watch the movie, I stopped at the Superstore to pick up some fruit bars and maple syrup, and for some reason, I picked up !!3 boxes!! of unsweetened bakers chocolate. And now, I can't wait to go home and experiment with it, because dude, I am craving
chocolate like nothing.

well DUH, YEAH.

I was thinking last night about how we really ought to get together soon, cuz I haven't seen for EVER. But I really shouldn't do much during the week since I have this release for work on fri. So then I thought. "SIGH MAYBE LATER".

:(

I suck!

Do you guys have craigslist or other msg boards where people are selling or giving away stuff? I've found a lot of times people just wnat to get rid of exercise equipment, sometimes it's free if you pick it up (surely someone will let you borrow a vehicle?) I dunno, it IS nice to have the bike, even if you don't go full force, you can ride for an hour and still get some exercise in.

oooh, good idea. we don't REALLY have a lot of space, but maybe we could make it work... I was thinking about trading or selling my ellipse for a bike, but I don't really want to get rid of the ellipse either, you know? hmmmmm all I need is somewhere else to put our actual bikes until we move ;)

do you hang your bikes?

we wanted to when we moved in... but there aren't any studs in good places in the ceiling. the bikes would either be in the middle of the room, or unable to hang because the studs are so close to the wall. mega UGH.

dont they have stands that you sit your bike on and can actually use your regular bike for indoors? i"m sure i've seen those before.

If not.. someone needs to invent that!!

The bath bombs were the bomb baby..they fizzed like no tomrrow and i actually kept dipping it in and out of the water:) MMMMMMMmm the smell .. YUM! thank you again.
