Things are actually going just fine for now. I'm in Toronto, haven't made it to Hamilton yet. My granma is still fighting (according to my father, saying "Granma isn't dead yet" isn't polite), so I'm not in Hamilton. I told my mother I don't want to intrude, which she agrees with, since it's really just the very immediate family there.

Really, I just don't want to experience my granma actually dying, nor do I want to experience the shock, relief, or tears of the immediately grieving.

That may sound callous, and if that's the case, well then, I am callous.

Or maybe, just trying to protect myself.

At any rate, my flight yesterday was fine, and I got in right before the blizzard moving east through Ontario. Unfortunately, because of the blizzard, my ride couldn't make it in, and I had only a brief time to get myself out of the airport before getting stuck there all night from the blizzard. Since going west wasn't an option (i.e., to hamilton, kw, anywhere), I went into toronto. I stayed with monolilith last night, and I'm at Cam's today.

Cam is napping, and later we're going to work out. I didn't bring my running shoes, but he lent me a pair of shorts I gave him a while back, and a tank top that fits me because we each bought the same one eons ago. I'll work out in my boots.

Anyway, it looks like the earliest I'll be going West will be Monday. Unfortunately, Rob doesn't work on Sundays, so I won't be able to get in touch with him until tomorrow at the earliest, so I'm not holding my breath. I swear, my back tattoo will be 10 years in the making. Heh. That must be significant.
