I adore my man.
We got to spend the ENTIRE weekend together, now that Andrew isn't working for awhile (his boss is getting "monitored" for illegal aliens, so Andrew is work-free). That means we got the evenings too, not just the days!
Friday night my coworker brought me (and the computer I borrowed from work indefinitely) home, we all sat around for awhile and smoked some pot, and then he left. Afterwards, Andrew and I danced, magically, slowly, lovingly, in the kitchen to the sound of kisses. It lasted forever, but it wasn't long enough. Later, we played Magic, then went to bed early.
Saturday we watched Donnie Darko while we took down the Christmas ornaments and tree, and swept up all the pine needles and things. Donnie Darko is a fabulous movie. And we washed the dishes and I made split pea spread, and we walked out to the co-op and got some groceries and then walked back (and oh the air was warm and we walked in our tank tops and life is GOOD) and I had a nap with my head in his lap while he read, and our evening was so laid back and we went to bed early... (And I got to talk to Cam for his birthday, and he said I love you first!)
And on Sunday, we woke up early, and played Magic at the laundromat while our tons of laundry ran, and I won for the very first time!!!!!!! And then we were home with all our chores done, and it was only 11:17am... so we relaxed and he watched a movie and I read, and I napped, and we watched some tv, and I talked to Suzanne for her birthday, and I made seafood chowder (and it was SO GOOD), and yet again, life is good...
All I need, really, in life, is my love in a nice home, and good food, and close friends near to hand. Even if they're only phoneable and emailable. I don't really need to go out a lot, to drink, to party...
