Andrew and I went out for dinner... we walked down Robson, we were going to go to Hon's but some people we didn't want to talk to saw us and talked to us, so we went past.
We ended up at Wild Garlic on Denman, and had a bunch of stuff from their tapas menu. I smelled like garlic ALL NIGHT and ALL DAY afterwards. Sooooo good. They're primarily a meat/cheese place, but they had some stuff, like a tofu dish and such. I admit, we didn't ask if stuff was definitely vegan, though, we were kind of schmegan about it.
leon has been saying for months we need to go to wild garlic but i resist because it has meat on the menu and also because it does not seem child-friendly, so opportunities are slim.
my eye looks a little better but is still bothering me a bit. i hope it is better soon because i miss my contacts. :(
yeah, it didn't seem very child friendly... small tables, glass glasses on the table... They were all really nice (all two of them), but it's a pretty small place, altogether. Not surprising, being that it's on Denman and all.
Yes, I miss you, so there! I may not have any brainpower to come up with some neat thing to invite you to do, but I CAN say "I look forward to our next hanging out time", so there! :P
well, leon and i are wanting to go so kung fu hustle (http://www.sonypictures.com/intl/cn/kungfuhustle/site/index_en.php) when it opens (purpotedly on march 18th). maybe you all would like to join us? we just have to find a sitter, of course.
Mind you, if you're getting a sitter ANYWAY, we should make an entire night out of it! We could have you two over for dinner... and maybe go out dancing afterwards? Although the only dancing I know about is on Saturdays.
wow, thrills and chills! there is dancing every night at the pub near our house, of course. but leon has to work early the next morning so i don't know how late he wants to stay out? we'll talk it over and get back to you.
