rice noodles, anyone?
Mar. 21st, 2005 11:19 amI have some "Thai Kitchen" rice noodles at work, for those days when I don't have enough food or I'm feeling like something different - they're like ramen, but not fried, and different flavours, and vegan.
Well, there's different flavours - lemongrass and chili, spring onion, etc etc...
One is "Bangkok Curry" and EVERY time I look at it, I hear the song "One night in Bangkok" by Murray Head.
*sigh*
HELP MEEEEEEEEEEE

Date: 2005-03-22 06:29 pm (UTC)It's really difficult to find convenience foods without white rice or white flour (or sugar)! I can't imagine how difficult it must be for people who want to eat healthy, but live on their own or have to take care of children. It must get exponentially harder. I find I can usually take out sugar, and eliminate white flour/rice from home cooking, but I still end up with the occasional white rice/flour when we eat out or buy convenience foods at busy times. I think I'm ok with that.
