Vivez sans temps mort!
Mar. 31st, 2005 09:47 amSo my hair did and did not turn out exactly right...
I have been thinking that I've had short hair for a while, and that I shouldn't be so boring and the same all the time, so for the last couple of hair cuts I just had Andrew do my bangs, by my ears, and clean up the bottom of the back.
My plan was to have a funky cut, I wanted the back such that I can put it up and out, but I didn't know what I wanted with the rest of the hair! That was my problem. So Andrew cut the back (thanks
pennycuts for the instructions! I would have called you, but we didn't eat dinner until 8pm, and so cutting didn't occur until around 9... that's 12 your time!)
Anyway, I knew I wanted the sides in front of my ears to be longer, and the bangs short, but the rest... I dunno.
Anyway, we fiddled with it, and when down, it basically looks like my hair usually does. Heh. But it's short and cute, and when I put it up, it looks pretty funky.
Pictures will follow... I just don't know when! ;)
We had the BEST vegan pizza last night! Basically we were just cleaning out the fridge. Some tomato, onion, oyster mushrooms, a green pepper... threw some roasted almond bits on the sun-dried tomato pesto pizza, and some vegan mozzarella slices on the tomato sauce one...
BABY, YUM YUM.
The only problem was that we didn't get to eat until 8. I was a little hungry by then.
We put up the lights from
malaka yesterday too, and that is another picture to come... they're in the kitchen, and they look so great!
This is my LAST DAY FOR TWO MONTHS!!! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!

Seriously, cutting was supposed to be the hard part!

Date: 2005-04-05 05:52 pm (UTC)Anyway, next time I grow it, I'm DEFINITELY going to call you! I think Andrew cut it too short in back.
What product do you use to put it up?? I don't think what we're using is good enough. *sigh*

Date: 2005-04-06 12:12 am (UTC)I use two Shwartzkopf products: Upload for some volume while it's wet, and Thrill when it's dry. As for where to get Shwartzkopf stuff, probably out of the way, but there's a little salon upstairs in New West Quay that sells it :D
Their products are going to be on sale at the hair show (April 17 & 18). Four of the "goop" product line for $20, and three of the "shampoo/conditioner" line for $20. I've already earmarked $40 for those products. SOOO in love.
Interesting fact though: Shwartskopf Professional makes the Got2B line. I noticed it in the store yesterday and it made me do a double take, so maybe some of the Got2B stuff is actually worth checking out.
You definitely want a wax or stiff pomade though. Fruitcus (sp? Garnier, green bottles) makes a pretty good pommade/wax for something you can pick up in the drug store.
