Woke up this morning to make Andrew's breakfast/lunch before he went off to work (and before you say anything about that, when I go to work he does the same for me every day, so I thought it'd be nice to do for him for a few months), after only a wee bit o sleep, and it was rainy and icky and bleh.

I went back to bed. And LO! When I woke up (was scared awake by 2 men in suits knocking on the door - I hid from them and watched them and eventually saw the bible in their hands and was glad I hid), it was a beautiful day. YAY for BEAUTIFUL DAYS.

So I've been for a run, and I'll wash the dishes and have a shower, and then I need to go buy some peppers for the Thai Green Curry I'm making tonight. Mmmmmm green curry.

Last night was fun. We went to see the band of a friend of Andrew's. At first I was kinda bored... we didn't have anyone to talk to, and the dj was quite BAD.

But then a nice German exchange student came up, and I spent the evening talking to her, and we're going to get together sometime. Plus, the band was GREAT. The singer's voice is velvet.

Anyway, then on the way home I started talking to this girl who, it turns out, lives relatively close to us. We exchanged email addresses and we're going to hang out sometime too.

Once home, I threw together a yummy dish for Andrew - vermicelli with a ginger/garlic/peanut/soy sauce, and with slices of mango and some snow peas. Hooray for whipped together meals!

Life is good for me, and I wish it were good for all of you too.

You really seem to be slipping into vacation mode! Theres nothing wrong with making lunch for your man! It's good to have a few things a day that you do for one another 'just because'. I make a point of doing an extra nice supper a few times a week. Kevin brings me a cup of coffee every morning & after supper. I fluff up his pillows for him (thats not code for anything!!) I put reading material I think he'll enjoy in the bathroom (like a Lordco flyer or the Canadian Tire catalogue)

Yes, I agree! I like doing special things for Andrew, and he does special things for me too. It makes for a pleasant home.

I am having a good day, that's for sure! I think I am better in vacation mode, yes.

I thought I emailed you, but maybe I didn't? When would you like to get together for Costco? Is next week too soon?

And now I really want to make a joke about pillow fluffing!!

Andrew's days off are Mon and Tues this week. And I believe he works on Wed, but later in the day. Howabout you and I get together on Wed? (Then Andrew can play his videogame with no guilt) I assume you'd like to go earlier in the day, before Kevin gets home?

Yes, the earlier the better! The kids are at their best in the morning/early afternoon. Costco opens at 11am & Kevin is home at 3:45 or so, so somewhere in that time frame would be good.

Well, let's go to Costco for 11, then! sounds good to me. Where shall we meet? If Costco isn't that hard to find, I can meet you there. Or, if you'd like to pick me up at Lougheed (same place as before) at... 10:50 (which is when the bus gets in), we could do that...

This is where Costco (http://www.costco.ca/en-CA/Warehouse/LocationTemplate.aspx?Warehouse=51) is. I can pick you up at 10:50 at the same spot as before, it's right on my way.

...but it's so FUN to torment the fundies! Especially when they come to YOU. I would feel guilty about searching them out to torment them, but when they come to me? No reservations at all!
