I got a few new additions to the household yesterday...

I'm hoping that, although both are succulents, they will thrive in our relatively damp atmosphere anyway.

Don't ask me to tell you what they are... the little purple one has an extremely long name, and the tall one, the fellow didn't know, he said it was an... iobinum or ionium or something.

Pretty! I love succulents. The last one looks like hens and chicks on sticks. :)

they are both forms of hen & chicks - LOVE THEM. They will thrive no matter what you do to them (they might like it better outside though)

aren't they the CUTEST??? I just couldn't say no.

The big one was a whole $3... the purple one was $8 but the container is a big fancy heavy thing.

I've got them right by the window, and the window is open... it's the best I can do right now (pouts).

That should be sufficient. You'll have them coming out your ears before you know it. If a leaf or stem breaks off, just stick it in dirt.

The bottom one, I've been told is also known as a 'money plant' and will draw same to you if it's in good health!

They are gorgeous!

They're beautiful - I especially like the second one. In my fantasy world - the one in which I have a yard of my own - I would landscape it almost exclusively with succulents, rocks and ornamental grasses - NO LAWN (I think lawns are hideous), maybe a water feature...maybe.
