Well last night was weird. We went to bed before 12, and I was soooo cold. I pressed up against Andrew, but couldn't stop shivering. He said I didn't feel cold, and he also checked me for a fever, but didn't notice anything...

but he felt so warm wherever I touched him, and I was freezing.

I stayed awake for an hour, trying to get warm from being near him, but it didn't work. I finally got up and put on his huge flannel robe, THEN went back under the covers, and then I was able to warm up enough to sleep.

Too odd.

This happens sometimes when I drink, so we always assumed it was a blood sugar thing. But I wasn't drinking last night, nor was I overly hungry, so I don't know WHAT that was about.

I'll be dyeing my hair brown today.

I know, I know, but here's the thing - my plan is to go to Ontario in Oct (or sometime around then), and I'm supposed to grow out my hair until then, when I will visit with pennycuts and get the best hair cut of my life. So I don't feel like bleaching my hair any more... and when I have roots (as I do, very much, at this moment), I don't like dyeing it. So I've been doing nothing to it, but of course this dye only fades to a certain point, so nothing more is washing out now. So I'm going to dye it brown again.

This will work out well for timing, which is both good and bad. Tomorrow I go to view the apartment, then on Thursday I'll be seeing some work people, including clients (gruggach, will you be there????), so it'll probably be for the best.

Ah well. I'm just not hard core anymore, I guess.

well, a while ago I got an email saying some people from your company wanted to hang out with people from OUR company, for pool and beer and stuff. They were talking about going to Yaletown at 4:30 or something. It was going to be earlier in the month but then with your coworker's accident they pushed it back...

I haven't heard anything recently though. Maybe I should call someone!

ok, I just checked, it's not happening Thursday, Ignore me! I guess M isn't coming back until the 2nd? Poor thing, that is some whiplash.

Yes, her little girl is ok. She was unharmed in the crash. The thing is, M was 5 months pregnant at the time of the crash. The crash was a nasty one, that spun her van around a few times, cracked her ribs, and pinned her in the vehicle. There was serious concern about her unborn baby. Everything is ok in that respect, but M is a physical mess. She hurts all over, and is really suffering. She tried to come in to work the next week, but she was in tears with the pain. So her doc said it wasn't worth it to try to work, stressing her body and possibly the baby. So she's taking a month off. Really scary stuff.
So yeah, that would be why the delay in the party.

oh that poor woman. that sounds AWFUL. I'm so sorry for her. I didn't realize the crash was so bad! I also didn't realize she was so far along in her pregnancy. That is so frightening.

I would have been upset and in tears too. Oh man. I'm glad she's taking time off work.

Nice and easy is a metalic dye... and its not good for you hair.. it just coats the hairshaft.. and wont allow other colors to penetrate.

well, ok, I hear you... but to be fair, I know for a fact bleaching it, then dyeing it with blues and purples isn't good for it either. :P

At this point, I stayed away from the roots and just did the already coloured part. I figured you'll probably cut off most of that anyway, so I didn't care what I got... not that I knew that about Nice n easy, though! I just cared about the colour.

I missed a spot by my ear. SIGH. It's my sideburns area. Can I trim it????

I hear you on the freezing thing. I haven't done that in a month or so, but that's happened to me a number of times. Even if it wasn't chilly outside or in the room. It's like, I just couldn't get warm...

Then of course, I'd wake up a few hours later, hot as hell.
