I was cleaning the absolutely filthy bathroom when she called. Yikes. Fil-fucking-thy.



tedshubris and rickgriff call our cleanse a "purge". But I've got to tell you, I am in SUCH a mood to purge much from our lives. I'm going to be getting rid of a lot of crap in our home (as long as Andrew agrees to it all, but he has to everything I've mentioned so far), and cleaning a bunch of stuff...

I'd blame it on spring, but it's a particularly icky, windy, non-springlike day today. It's good to do this sort of all out purge every once in a while anyway.

well, the other people aren't moving out until the 27th or so, and the landlady said we'll get our keys whenever we come and pay 1st month's rent, between then and June 1. So, whenever, really...

They say they're going to clean clean clean it... but I know the first thing I'll do is clean anyway. And I've got to figure out if I want to paint or not...

You know what I love? That we weren't seriously thinking about it, but when we saw our friend's place there, we told them to tell us when something came up... and when it came up the VERY NEXT DAY, we jumped on it! I love that we didn't hold back. I love it about him, AND about me. Opportunity Grabbers that we are...

oh no! we visited some other friends for dinner on Sunday.

the housesitting was at Nelson and Thurlow... right near English Bay.

They said, if ever we get a car, they have underground parking... for $20 a month. that is a crazy good price!
