*phew*
Painted the old place yesterday. I got a first coat on almost 3 rooms... and hurt my back, big time.
Didn't know that until this morning, of course.
It will be better in a few days, I think.
Anyway. Sobbed last night because the move has been lots of work, and I'm already tired of living unsettled and tired.
Feeling better today.
Had my first bath in the new tub!! It is wider and deeper than the old one. And white, not godawful pink. HURRAH.
Today was the start of a new project, and during the day the VP (the same one that caught me sending personal emails last week) called me a Senior Tester (as well as he should, as I am, but still, the first time he said it in public, to a client), and also made sure to say in front of everyone that I am in charge of the project.
It was very affirming.
And almost made up for the stress I felt of trying to get the test outline complete in time while dealing with last weeks project and my second resource (a junior tester who gets confusd).
We saw Batman Begins last night, and it was great. Really, really good. I already want to see it again. I wanted to see it again as soon as it ended.
I mean, ok. Definite schmaltz moments. And Katie Holmes. But she sucks WAY less than Kirsten Dunst in... well... anything that isn't Bring it On or Interview with a vampire. So I forgive her. Even if she's doing TC right now.
But some shots were SO GOOD. And Gary Oldman!! And Cillian Murphy!! And and!!! And!!!
Yeah. If you like movies like that, see it.
If you don't, I refuse to recommend it. :P
(So,
malaka, tell Richard to see it, but don't YOU go! ;)
My plan to bike to work this morning was derailed by the back issue, but I'm going to treat my back well this week, because on Wednesday I MUST GO TO YOGA WITH
lumpy_lia, RIGHT???
There's so much to say, but as each day goes by, I think less and less that I'm going to ever be able to catch up.
*sigh*
