GRIN, DAMMIT, GRIN!!!

Andrew's cousin just called. She's so weird on the phone, I gave up talking to her after 3 minutes and passed her on to Andrew. She's a nice woman, but... doesn't seem to have much to say to me. Mind you, I don't have much to say to her.

I am SO HAPPY today.

Why?

Well, let me count the reasons.

1. Work has been really great all week. Busy, but not overtime busy. I have actually felt FULFILLED. All week. My brain has been working, I haven't been bored, and I've been accomplishing things AND BEEN RECOGNIZED FOR IT.
   
   Hallelujah.


2. I BIKED TO WORK TODAY. Yes, I DID!!! I did I did I did.
   
   It actually takes less time for me to bike to work than to take transit (~23 min). And there are MASSES of people on the streets biking. I felt like I was part of this gang of goodness. It was so awesome.


3. I made these vegan yogurt pops with raspberries last night, and we had them today... and they're really yummy! (zaftigvegan, I can't wait until you and the kids come over so I can give them to them... I hope they like! And of course, if THEY'RE having them, you and I will have to, too!)


4. I got the sweetest card from sistore for a housewarming, today, which was so unexpected, and so touching. Thank you!!

I don't know. That's not even the tip of the iceberg. I'm just HAPPY. I'm happier here than I thought I could possibly be. It's everything. It's the location, the area, the time to work... it's EVERYTHING.

Anyway, it's almost ten. How did that happen?? *sigh*. So I will go and do other things now.

Wow. I read a really nasty tone into that. I'd like to believe it wasn't there, but I am not at that point yet.

Yes, we lucked into a great place. Luck is definitely an operative word. We're living in the Commercial and Broadway area.
