Tonight we're having a bunch of people over to play boardgames. I think it's going to be fun!
Especially since I bought a new game yesterday... I don't know what came over me, but I just couldn't say no.
What was it, you ask?
ZOMBIES!
That's right!
I got the game ZOMBIES!
I can't wait to play! What fun! Andrew might take it with him to Rhode Island when he goes to shoot the movie there.
Speaking of Andrew shooting movies, he'll be leaving on July 20th, and then gone for 3 weeks. That's crazy! Nothing I can't handle...
Last year was difficult, but that was kinda nuts - I was working crazy hours, and then my granma was diagnosed with lung cancer. I suppose, if bad stuff happens it'll be rough again, but we have a larger support network now, so I'll be ok.
Not that I can't deal with being alone for 3 weeks anyway. Heh. I'm a little tougher than your average bear.
My poor bhunny is sick, though. With the same cold, as far as I can tell, as the one I had when we moved. I cudgelled him into taking the day off yesterday, and I think that helped. He napped in the afternoon.
The image of my darling boy napping with Bear curled up next to him is very precious, by the way. As is the image of him laying on the couch with a blanket over him. My sweet man.
Anyway, so we met up to get some chiropractic work done after I was done work, and then we went to our favourite vegan vietnamese place, then rented a movie, and went home.
We had a very cozy lovely time at home snuggling on our couch, drinking tea, and watching the movie, too. It was very wonderful. I want more of those nights! MORE!
The other night I had a dream that Dakota Fanning was being sexually abused by Tom Cruise.
The freaky thing?
I was Tom Cruise.
And I was utterly convinced that she wanted it, and that she was the only person to understand me.
