Read Harry Potter yesterday. Borrowed it from our next-door neighbours. I started reading at 7, finished at 12.

It was ok. Not my favourite of the books - and not because of what happens. I don't know how to describe it... but I didn't feel as into it as the others.

It does make me want to reread the others though. And I *am* glad I read it.

Other than that, I tried to take some time off yesterday. I spent a lot of time on the phone - with my mom, and my best friend, making some plans for things... just stuff. That was the morning. Then I went out grocery shopping - and discovered I'd lost my $#%#^@@##$ debit card.

So I got all my canning stuff (I have almost 6 pounds of apricots at home waiting to be made into sugar-free jam, that required I get some more pectin, apple juice concentrate, and jar lids) on a credit card, and went home. But I didn't get any of my weekly groceries.

I found the damn card at home, for some reason I'd put it in the back pocket of my workout pants. But by then I was so cranky, I didn't want to go out again for the weekly groceries.

Instead, I watched the end of the wedding singer, because it was on tv, EVEN THOUGH I OWN IT. I am a great big gob of dum. And I even cried at the end. Because I am also a great big gob of silly.

Then I had a long nap on the couch, cuddled up with the kittens, with the fan on. It was really nice.

But I still didn't feel like going out and getting groceries. Growl.

Needless to say, that's one of tonight's chores.

I catch the Wedding Singer on TV about every 2 weeks. Damn if I don't sit down to watch it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. :)

I fondly remember sitting in the van with you, at the mall, not wanting to go in because we were singing 80s music at the top of our lungs...
