I just read a beautiful eulogy of a man I never knew.
And it made me think:
Sure, when you die, people always say the best of you (well, at least, the ones that didn't hate you).
But if you died, what would people say about you?
What would they say about me, if I died?
I may not be doing enough in my life. I may be wasting entire days.
I thought I was learning how to relax, but what if I'm not? What if I'm learning to waste time, instead?
I need to think more on this.

Date: 2005-08-08 07:59 pm (UTC)You said it quite well, that the way we touch lives and change the world are all inherently different and valuable. I'm glad you mentioned that, because it's important for me to remember.
