I took yesterday off after all. :D :D

Yay for spending time with my man! Although we spent most of it working on stuff.

My incredible, wonderful, brilliant, AMAZING man took apart our toilet, even though it had been put together wrong (and with plumbers putty, of course), took out all of the tank pieces, and replaced them with new ones! We now have a working (clean, because I cleaned everything with bleach after he took it apart) toilet. This is AWESOME.

We helped the neighbours paint for a few hours, and bought a whole bunch of groceries... you know, normal life stuff.

And ohh did we eat some really good corn last night. yum.

Now I owe work a whole bunch of hours, but I'll make it up. A few weekend hours here and there, and it'll be fine. It was definitely worth it.

mmmmm me too... fresh corn is sooo good.

I used to feel bad about eating fresh corn, because I'd always put so much butter/margarine on it, but I have discovered the pleasures of a little bit of flax oil on my corn...

Mind you, I like the flavour of flax oil, although many people don't...

Oh, definitely. Salt salt salt. Andrew puts pepper on as well, and I don't MIND it with pepper... just don't always crave it that way.

Well, since I am still carnivorous I use butter and salt. Sometimes Johnny's seasoning is really good on corn that's been grilled. MMMMMMMMM I'm getting hungry now.....

Heh. He probably won't, or it'll be another several weeks before he gets around to it. He's good, he had a great time, and I'm thrilled he's back. :D
