So Andrew is helping out this woman he met when he was working at the geek store. She's going to school to be a make-up artist, and she needed a model for her final exam.

Her final exam is today, so he's spending the day at her class while she makes him up.

She's apparently going to make him up as a gargoyle - I can't wait to see pictures!

Unfortunately, the downside to this is that she asked him to shave off all his facial hair (except eyebrows).

That means, not just a regular shave, not just getting rid of his soul patch, but also shaving off his sideburns.

I thought I was prepared, but...

When he came out of the bathroom yesterday after shaving, I couldn't handle it.

He looks JUST LIKE HIS FATHER.

heh!

(Anyway, he promises it will grow back quickly, and I can't wait, I do NOT like this look on him!!)

Whenever my Andrew tries to grow sideburns I make him shave them--with them he looks too much like his father!
Hopefully everything will grow back soon and you can trade your FIL back for your man!

HAHAHA! It is always frightening when men remove thier facial hair. It always freaks me out when Brad decides to shave his goatee. :D

I think J is starting to look like his dad, mostly in photos. It kind of icks me out when I think about it too hard.

Kevin mows his whole head about every 2 weeks. It used to be once a month. I think this is his idea of looking more presentable at his new job.

My dad had a beard for our whole childhood. I didn't know what he looked like without a beard until I was 22 or something. He shaved it off on a Friday or Saturday night & my sister didn't come home until after my parents were in bed. When my mom heard her get up in the morning she said "Hey Dayna, come look at this!" When Dayna walked into the room, her first thought wasn't "Ohwow! Dad shaved his beard" it was "Oh my God! Moms in bed with Uncle Allan!!!"

haha! well at least he agrees, and it will grow back. i always hate it when a SO or partner or whatever decides to grow some stupid facial hair or remove some good stuff or cut off all their beautiful head hair or what have you, even grow muscles. it's as if suddenly they will become something else other than what we cherished all this time, but it usually turns out fine after a period of adjustment or whatever. you will make it through the ordeal! hehe

Kev has this rule at work, nobody is allowed any kind of facial hair.

WHen i met him he had been on holidays, so he had a gotee, WHen the MOnday came up , he felt the need to warn me that he would hafto shave and that i may not like it.


Normally he wont shave on fridays and by sunday he has a gotee and i love it.

I always think he looks pale when he shaves.
