Andrew thinks we should have a party for my birthday. I admit, I'm tickled - I've only had one that I didn't plan, and that was... less than my fave.

Anyway, he says he'll plan it, but ask me for whatever I want it to be like. He'll send out the email, and he'll field "present" questions, and I can have whatever I want for food, but I DONT HAVE TO COOK ANY OF IT.

Crazy!

As far as food, I know I want a big veggie sushi plate. And wacky cake. I haven't thought much on what else though...

He also asked me for a birthday present list. This is the first year I'm letting him spend actual $ on me - usually I'm like "We can afford 20 bucks".

Which is odd, considering how much I love birthdays...

Anyway, here's my list so far. Suggestions?? My mind is a BLANK.

East Indian fabrics to drape in the bedroom. (Bright colours, of course)
East Indian styled pillow cases similar to the ones in our living room (also bright colours, of course)
Any 21 jump street season dvds (heee!!)
Big plants (I'm tired of getting itty bitty ones and having to wait for years before they are sizeable)
Someplace to put all my plants (heh)
Dark chocolate!


Seriously, that's it. I love bubble bath and bath stuff, but I have a lot, and probably won't need any until Christmas. So I'm not putting that on the list.

I could say cookbooks, but I have so many, how would he know what to get?

I could say videogames, but we haven't touched the PS2 since the day before he left for the movie shoot. So I don't see the point of that until we at least find time again.

So I just don't know!

ME TOO! I have all baby plants. In my old apartment, I had the most beautiful plants but then I didn't have room to move them. It still makes me sad sad.

my mother grew a ficus for me, from a cutting from a tree they'd had since I was little. I had it in my apartment in Toronto, and babied it, and it loved where it was! But then, we moved to the States, and couldn't bring any plants over. So she has it again, and I guess I'll never have it... *sigh*
