I'm listening to a mix I made for
zaftigvegan, to see if it works together. It makes me happy. :)
I'm cooking split peas right now, to make a split pea spread for lunches (mmmm split pea spread and lettuce sandwiches!), and sort of not thinking about the groceries I need to get. Soon I'll hunker down and figure that all out.
Today is food not bombs. I took the last 2 weekends off, with the move and everything. It was really nice to take that time. I'd love to take more, but I'll be taking two weeks off in March, with the trip we're taking. So I should go today and next weekend. Because really - it's only 2 weeks until our trip. Hoorah!
I can't believe it's the end of February already. It's like I blinked and raced through it. In not too long at all, Andrew will be in school. And 24. And I'll be... well, who knows what I'll be doing.
The stress of the move has brought out Penelope's bad side, sadly. She's peeing on our new couch. Andrew needs to get something from work today. The Natures Cleaner stuff he got before is NOT stopping her at all. What fun. How interesting. BLEH.
And we still don't have phones - fun with Fido not giving UPS our apartment number, and then one phone coming from Ontario instead of BC, and etc etc... so with luck we'll have one phone on Monday, the other by Wednesday. Ugh. All this to stay connected with people.
I'll be in Ontario, in June! I have 2 weddings to go to - luckily, they are less than a week apart. So I can go to both of them. I'll be there from the 10th to the 18th. And sadly, that means the Toronto/Niagara corridor, folks. With a small (not NIL) possibility of getting up to Ottawa/Vankleek.
And that's it, sadly. My brain isn't really working linearly today. It's easy for me to forget things (I forgot I put the split peas on to boil, and they boiled over), and I'm just sort of here. So I'll leave this drivel for you, but I don't think I'm going to continue sitting here trying to think of something else to write.
Heh.

Date: 2006-02-25 07:31 pm (UTC)i'm sorry about the cat pee! we've had a couple of incidents here with the kittens and we had this like, four-stage process of spraying, sprinkling, vaccuming, rinse+repeat trying to get that odor out to discourage them.
i can't wait to hear my mixed CD! i have one for you too! are we not so awesome to each other?!
have fun at FnB today - i haven't been in three weeks and honestly, and horribly, i don't miss it at all. it was just becoming WAY too much for me.
