brightbluegirlEvents this weekend have conspired to remind me of just how cool I am.
Which is strange, because there was a bit of tension on Sunday morning with a friend, which one would not think leads to contentment with self. But it did!
I now realize on a conscious AND subconscious level that I am often at, and always at least close to, my ideal concept of what a person should be.
I also realize that I am hard on the people around me, and even harder on myself.
And that I'm ok with that, primarily because it's not hypocritical. I've always respected people who expect a lot from themselves.
So I'm in a good place. A really good place. It's been awhile, and I'm glad to be back here.
I remember this place! What a lovely view!
In other news, I'm making french onion soup right now, and yesterday I made bread. Mmmm, fresh bread. Organic french onion soup. Mmmmmm. Food is so good.
