Last night we ate glorious vegetarian tacos.
We also went for a walk down to the co-op to get some groceries. Just as we got there, it started to weather. And I mean WEATHER. When we got out of the store, it was snowing madly, and there was all this snow on the street...
We watched an impromptu snowball fight. Life is all about impromptu snowball fights.
Walking home was a bit slippery, but I didn't fall down. It was gorgeous, the snow falling wetly through the light from the street lamps. It wasn't that cold, but it was wet. My running shoes were soaking wet by the time we got home.
And here I am at work... day 7 of a 7 day work week. I am so looking forward to the day being done. Although it is true that Saturdays are almost as easy as Sundays.
As I biked to work this morning, I saw a bumper sticker that read "we vote pro life". It made me want to scream and shout. Made me want to bike into the car and sue them for hitting me. It made me want to cry.
It's infuriating, but it's also old and tired. I'm tired of stating the good, valid reasons why choice is a good thing. I'm tired of arguing with irrational people who point to religion as reason enough.
So I didn't do anything.
I started the plan that I worked with my brother on, today. I biked in to work and ate here. I was hungry before I started, but happily, while biking I didn't feel hungry at all. I think this is going to work!
