I had to not lift weights last night because I was so tired. I think it was for the best, but I kept staring at the weight bench with longing.
Normally I would just work out today, but today is my rest day, and I really need it. So I'm skipping a work out for the week.
That's ok. I've been pushing myself really hard, so I need the break.
I had also agreed to work Monday for someone, but I'm reniging on that. I found someone else to do the time. I need my two days off. I've been working so hard lately, what with 2 seven day weeks in February, and taking the pager and stuff. We'll survive without the money.
I applied for another job today. That puts my applications up to 7. That's not a lot, but it's a start. I actually got a sort of reply. Someone who referred me to a job in Montreal told me his manager got my resume.
All that means is that my resume got through HR, but it's a start! It left me in a good mood about jobs for the rest of the day yesterday.
I also am keeping my eyes on a large video game company in Vancouver. The minute they post a job for someone with my qualifications, I am applying for that mother-fucker. I mean a VIDEO GAME COMPANY. Let's think about that for a minute...
