cute and whimpering
Mar. 13th, 2003 09:23 amOk, so I'm trying something new...
Someone wanted a picture, and then someone else sent me one of me on my 28th birthday.
By the time this picture was taken I was very drunk and VERY happy. And very cute.
My hair IS blue here, but unfortunately you can't really tell, because the background is so dark. You can see a shine or two, though. Sorry I can't give you something bluer. I have bluer pictures, but nothing scanned. I'll keep you posted...

The daisies (my favorite flower) were a gift from my friend Nunich. The tattoo is of the goddess Lilith. The skirt was the very first skirt I ever made with my own two hands. I still love it.
I weighed about what I weigh now.
Last night I did some more writing on my distopian sci-fi mystery novel. It had been so long I spent most of the time re-reading what I'd written and getting back into it. And noticing that I'm having a really hard time getting the tense correctly written. But I can always go back and edit that. The first pass is the hard part. I think I'm a much better editor than writer. (Which my father disagrees with - he thinks I'm a GREAT writer. Thanks Dad!)
I enjoy it. I love finding out what's happening. I sort of planned things out, but I love finding out what the characters are like and how the story ends up.
I love it.
I had a horrid dream last night. I was in a house with a friend, and there was a murderous psycho outside trying to get in and kill me. My friend wasn't doing anything to keep the psycho out, even when I told him exactly what to do. I was running around, locking doors and windows, and I told the friend to lock a door while I was doing this, and he DIDN'T, and the psycho got in. He had a brightly shining evil looking knife.
I woke up desperately pressed against Andrew. I may even have been whimpering.

Your hair, by the way: If it's really that dark, and that shiny . . . I'm jealous. That's exactly the color I wanted to dye into my hair (streaks, not the whole thing), but didn't think I could manage it. It's a beautiful color.
