To Lunge:
Start by standing with feet shoulder width apart. Step forward with one foot. Bend both knees until they're at 90 degree angles (back foot will rise up onto toes). Push up with the hips until standing. Repeat with other foot.
Do 3 sets of 15 on each side.
Fall on floor.
Writhe in pain.
Wake up periodically during the night thinking "why the fuck do I do this to myself?".
Shuffle around the office at work because you can't walk properly.
Plan to repeat weekly.
So. We added lunges to our legs workout yesterday. I needed to do lunges because the legs have the largest muscles in the body, and my thighs and hips are my problem area, and I have a goal to reach, dammit.
I hate lunges.
I hate lunges because my legs feel so crappy WHILE I'm doing them.
Which is why I have to do lunges.
My brother says I should be eating at LEAST 67 grams of protein a day. I don't eat that much protein. I'm going to try to eat more. Our next shopping trip is going to be for lots of legumes and cottage cheese and things.
We made carrot soup yesterday. Yum.
I didn't lose any weight this week, but I HAVE lost some inches on my problem areas(well, 1/2 inch on each thigh and on the hips) in the last 2 weeks.
I'm trying this diet plan for 2 more weeks. If I continue to lose 1 lb in two weeks, I'll change my diet plan again. That's two slow. If it moves up to 1 lb every week, I'll stay with it.
Bush has given Saddam 48 hours.
I want to go home. I want to pack everything up and break my lease and say goodbye to these nice people at work and run home.
This is a completely reactionary emotional response that I will not give in to.

I buy 6 12oz containers of fat free cottage cheese a week and have to stop myself from eating one for breakfast, lunch AND dinner. heh. There are about 45 grams of protein in a 12oz container, and it's only 4points (210 calories for the whole 12oz container.)
Tuna is great, too.. if you like it.
