Ah the joys of Saturdays at work.

Music nice and loud, a quiet quiet work day, applying for jobs...

I'm in a good mood. A little bored, but in a good mood.

Tomorrow we're biking to the botanical garden, where we'll have lunch and wander around, and then bike back. We checked, it's about 3x as far from home as my work is, so our estimate of 1hr each way is a good one. Yeah! I'm excited. It's going to be fun. If we can do that, I'll feel a lot better about our plans for the trip at the end of May. According to mapquest, it's 6 1/2 miles each way. So that'll be a start, anyway.

Is biking 6 1/2 miles an hour slow? That's about 10.5 km/hr... I wish I knew. Ah well.

i just won a war with my folks: i get to take my old bike from guelph and bring it home with me. have fun on your bike ride tomorrow. i'll try to start riding too.

It depends on whether it includes stopping, waiting for lights, pedestrians, etc. I think my bike ride to/from school averages between 6 and 8 mph, but I don't think I bike particularly slowly (I pass more people than pass me).
