My coworker just shouted "THANKYOU JESUS!" because no one is calling. Go Easter.

Last night Andrew and I did our work out. I was really tired before-hand, but felt sort of invigorated afterwards. Well, for all of 5 minutes, before I felt more tired. Mind you, it was bed time by then.

We bought these neat arm/ankle bands with moveable weights. (Right now they're at 2.5 lbs each, but they can be .5 lbs each, or one with 5 lbs) I needed them because my arms are too strong for some weights, but too weak for others. An example is bicep curls. I can go through 3 sets of 15 reps at 10 lbs, no problem, but 15 lbs I couldn't quite get one rep done, never mind a set. So last night I did 12.5 lbs, and that was good.

I'm liking my biceps nowadays.

Now if only I could LOSE SOME FAT so other people would see them too!!! *scowl*

This 1500 calorie thing is good for my headspace, but I'm still not back to where I was before I went off the diet.

I'm hoping for after the weekend.

Now all we need is something, bands or something like that, for the side leg lifts we do in place of adducter and abducter. And I have a sneaking suspicion that, even though we do leg extensions, we should do something targetting the glutes. Or something. I'll think on it.

Anyway.

Biking to work this morning I expected it to be dead, like most Sunday mornings. I was shocked at how many people were out and about. I'm glad I don't celebrate Easter. The most my family ever did was give each other chocolate. One year we searched the house for chocolate easter eggs. That was fun. This year, if I hadn't been on a diet, I'm sure Andrew and I would have done something fun... exchanged chocolates, maybe had an egg hunt, decorated some eggs... but since I AM on a diet, we didn't do anything, and I'm glad. It would have been far too hard on my willpower.

On my way to work there was a puppy sitting in the middle of the road, watching me quizzically. His person was doing something to her car. I stopped by him. Cute puppy. REALLY cute puppy. All black, wiry hair, with white feet and a white tip of his tail. Tail that wagged like crazy. His person said he'd never seen a bike before. He was about 3 months old. I stopped and we met and he licked me and I patted him, and I went on my way, but he kept following me, so I stopped and waited for his person to pick him up and take him back to the car.

Cute puppy. I want a puppy!!!!!!

YAY!
