Tears running down my face. How did they get there?
Upset Belly.
Weak Body.
Pounding Head. Pounding Head. Pounding Head.
This is what it means to have a migraine.
I'm home from work. I WANTED to go into work, which is strange, but I did. I knew we'd be short-handed if I didn't go in, but I couldn't get up. Any sound was anathema. My stomach was wrecked. IF I'd been able to make it all the way there, I'd never have been able to work.
Migraines suck. Never get one.
I'm feeling slightly better - After a breakfast Andrew made me of a smoothie with almond milk/banana/strawberry/raspberry/flax, I slept all morning, ate some carrots/cucumber/green pepper/avocado/tahini/sprouts wrapped in nori for lunch, and even had the energy to wash the dishes.
I'm quickly failing, though. I think I have to go back to bed.
(Last night dinner was the BEST salad I've ever had - salad greens with avocado and tomato and pine nuts and sesame seeds and sprouts - with a homemade dressing better than anything I've ever bought from the store. It was REALLY pretty, too.)
I don't know if this is a reaction to the detox (no sugars, no refined carbs, etc), or just something that was coming anyway.
I don't care, I just want it to go away.

Hey - we need to get together soonish to trade watchmen for wolverines origins... and a late celebration of your birthday maybe? Do you have any time in the near future?
