This morning it rained on my way to work. One of the things I love about New Mexico is that while I'm on the street, there may be rain coming down as far behind me and in front of me as I can see, but if I move a street to the left or right, the rain may not be coming down there. That happened this morning. Sweet.
Overheard at work yesterday "I LOVE GUNS!"
I happened onto the email address of a friend I haven't spoken to in years. He's working in Vancouver now. We have exchanged emails and I'm super excited about knowing him again. His name is Dieter. He has a tendency to get the Dieter's plate in restaurants, because, you know... it's made just for him.
I introduced him to another guy named Dieter once - he was floored, because he'd never actually met someone else named Dieter.
In a completely unexpected fashion, he told me his company is really great to work for and may be hiring shortly, and said he'd put a good word in for me if I wanted to apply there. He even said the QA head likes strong women.
