*sigh*
I've been working all day.
Except for when I went out to deposit my last paycheque, and spent $20 we don't really have on rice and vanilla and cinnamon and flour. You know, luxury items.
What's worse is nothing is organic. I just made rice pudding and it all smells wrong. Almost metallic. I can't tell if *I'm* off today, or if I've really gotten that sensitive to pesticides.
I'll be working all day tomorrow, too.
*sigh*
At least I'm being productive... and working us somewhat out of the hole we dug ourselves into. Andrew's been working all day too. I feel kind of bad that it takes him approximately 3 hours of work to make the same amount of money I make in one hour. Except that I'm super glad I'm making that amount of money at all - it really makes our lives possible.
That's right, positive thoughts! Things could be a hell of a lot worse than they are now. I'm lucky the company needs overtime from me right when I need to work it, I'm lucky I'm working, I'm lucky to have Andrew, we're lucky he's working, I'm lucky to be able to tweak the budget a wee bit if I have to, and I'm lucky I don't have to live paycheque to paycheque, even if all the money is slated to go places, at least it sits in our account for satisfying amounts of time.
Lucky!
